Santorini Greece Wedding Photography

"If I could choose a handful of things on my day which were my favourite I’d always say Verman Photography are up there with my must for our day. Their style is art and they couldn’t do enough for us whilst we were there. Verman Photography also went to scout out the venue before hand to make sure we had the best pictures in and around pyrgos, I’m so pleased we chose them for our day."

We met Lucy at a Luton Hoo wedding fair. We all got on so well and she told us about her plans to get married in Santorini. It sounded like a dream wedding. We wanted to go to Santorini on our honeymoon but couldn’t afford it in the end. We were so excited when Lucy decided to book us for her Santorini wedding. Every wedding is special, unique and beautiful, but leaving St Albans and heading for Santorini was very exciting. We had actually been on a six month trip around South East Asia and only arrived back in Hertfordshire a week before flying to Santorini. If you want to see more about our travel adventures then click here.

We had a bit of a complicated flight as we had to first fly to Milan, then Rome and finally Santorini. We were flying with two different airlines and Kiwi.com had failed to pay for baggage on both airlines. When we arrived to Milan we were told we would have to pay for extra baggage despite already paying for it. Luckily when we returned home to England Kiwi.com sorted it all out and refunded us.

We arrived late and when we reached our hotel the owners told us that they were full and our room wouldn’t be available till the next morning. We were so confused and despite our best attempts at getting a reasonable answer as to why it was full despite booking we failed. They drove us to a sister hotel of “similar quality” (it really wasn’t at all and was very basic) we got into a room and went straight to bed. The next day we moved back to our original hotel and went out exploring the locations for Lucy and Zak’s wedding which would be the next day.

Lucy and Zak were getting married at the Santorini Gem before heading to the Pyrgos Restaurant for their reception. Both venues were incredible beautiful. The wedding was incredible, the weather was perfect and despite being very hot everyone was so friendly and made the day fly by. The small village streets that we took Lucy and Zak to were incredible and the perfect backdrop to some beautiful photos of them both.

We hope you love looking at these photos as much as we do and we can’t wait to be back in Santorini for more weddings in a few months.

Keep going to the end of the photos where you will be able to find a list of suppliers for Lucy and Zaks wedding.
